AMUZAE

WHAT IS AMUZAE?

Amuzae is a company dedicated to providing quality food and cooking services to people of all ages. It is owned and operated by CIA graduate, Chef Shawn Hubbell.

WHAT DOES AMUZAE MEAN?

Amuzae (pronounced "Amuse-A") is derived from the French word amuse-bouche which literally translates to mouth amuser.  An amuse-bouche is meant to be a small, bite-size morsel that helps to excite the palate and get you ready for the meal to come; it's an appetite teaser.  It is also a way for a chef to convey his/her philosophy of food, culinary artistry, and showmanship in a quick manner.

My Business

My business is dedicated to exposing people to clean, healthy, natural, quality foods. Because of this desire, not only was starting my own business imperative, it was necessary in order to make people aware of what QUALITY food looks, tastes, and smells like. Using ingredients from local farms enables me to accomplish this. Whenever possible, please support local farms and businesses.
