Amuzae is a company dedicated to providing quality cooking services to people of all ages. It is owned and operated by CIA graduate, Chef Shawn Hubbell.
Amuzae (pronounced "a-myu-zay") is derived from the French word amuse-bouche which literally translates to mouth amuser. In the U.S. it has taken on the simple phrase of amusé (pronounced "a-myu-zay"). An amuse-bouche is meant to be a small bite size morsel that helps to excite the palate and get you ready for the meal to come; it's an appetite teaser. It is also a way for a chef to convey his/her philosophy of food, culinary artistry, and showmanship in a quick manner.

Me (to the right) in Spain with the chef of Restaurante Martin Berasategui in San Sebastian.
Food is my passion! My goal as a chef is to spark the excitement that I have about food in everyone I cook with. Whether it be through cooking classes, demonstrations, or a simple meal; may I enable a culinary explosion in you.
